Status of the call for applications

The first step of the selection process is currently closed. Candidates have already been notified the accreditation results from the Quality Agency of the University System (AQU) and therefore whether they have passed the first step of the selection process. The results of this first step for each University are the following:

Universitat de Barcelona (UB)

Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC)

Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF)

Universitat de Girona (UdG)

Universitat de Lleida (UdL)

Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV)

Universitat de Vic – Universitat Central de Catalunya (UVic-UCC)

The second step of the process begins with the formal publication of the call in the Official Journal of Catalonia (DOGC).  On May 16th the Government of Catalonia has formally approved the Serra Húnter Programme for the period 2016-2020. This permits all posts to be formally offered.

Some universities have already published the call in the DOGC and, consequently, they have opened the second step of the selection process. The Universitat Pompeu Fabra published its resolution on June 6th 2017, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya on July 7th 2017, the Universitat de Lleida on September 1st 2017 and the Universitat de Girona on September 12th 2017. You may consult the status of their selection process in each university webpage:

Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF)

Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC)

Universitat de Lleida (UdL)

Universitat de Girona (UdG)

Once the formal call is published, candidates may add the documents required for the second step of the selection process (Most valuable academic contributions, Teaching experience and Teaching and research interests) to the PLASH portal (if they have not already done so) as well as update their CV or documentation. In addition, they must submit a formal request to the universities offering the vacancies of their interest.

From the Serra Hunter Programme, we will inform the candidates about the publication of the formal call of the Serra Hunter Programme for 2016 and the deadline for submission of the formal application and documentation to the universities.

On-site interviews are expected to take place during the fourth trimester of 2017.
